1) Inspect both wheel speed sensor rotors for damage and
check that no foreign objects are caught in the rotor
openings.
Are the rotors OK?

1) Inspect the clearances of the front and rear wheel speed
sensor – sensor rotor using the thickness gauge.
Special tool
(A): 09900–20803 (Thickness gauge)
(B): 09900–20806 (Thickness gauge)
Wheel speed sensor – sensor rotor clearance
0.3 – 1.5 mm (0.012 – 0.059 in)

Are the clearances OK?

Go to Step 4.
Replace the ABS
control unit/HU.
