Installation
Install the ignition switch in the reverse order of removal.
Pay attention to the following points:
• Install the ignition switch and new bolts.
• Tighten each bolt until its head is broken off.
NOTE
The spare ignition switch comes equipped
with the special bolts, however, the bolts are
also individually available as spare parts.
• First tighten the steering stem head nut (1), then
tighten the front fork upper clamp bolts (2).
Tightening torque
Steering stem head nut (a): 65 N·m (6.5 kgf-m,
47.0 lb-ft)
Front fork upper clamp bolt (b): 23 N·m (2.3 kgf-
m, 16.5 lb-ft)
