Air Consumption and Depth are continuousl y monitored and Air
Time Remaining refl e cts any change in circumstances. For
exampl e , when a buddy starts breathing from your Octopus or
you suddenl y find yoursel f swimming against a strong current
and begin breathing more rapidl y , the El i te T3 wil l recognize the
change and adjust the ATR accordingl y .
ATR is the time you can remain at the present Depth and stil l
a
safel y surface with the Tank Pressure Reserve that you sel e cted
during setup (End Pressure Al a rm Setting).
ATR, identified by the symbol s AIR and TIME (Fig. 65a), can be
viewed when an Al t ernate Displ a y is accessed during dive
modes. In the event that ATR becomes l e ss than No Deco and
O2 Time, it wil l be displ a yed on the Main Displ a y as Dive Time
Remaining until it becomes greater than one or the other.

Air Time Remaining (ATR) Alarm

hen ATR decreases to 5 minutes (0:05), the Audibl e Al a rm
wil l sound and the LED wil l fl a sh.
If ATR decreases to 0:00, the Audibl e wil l sound and the LED
wil l fl a sh again. The message LO > AIR > TIME wil l scrol l at
the top of the screen (Fig. 66) until ATR becomes greater than 5
minutes (0:05).
