Due to the possibil i ty that sufficient air may not be avail a bl e in
the Switch From tank to compl e te the dive, the Switch to the
prohibitive Mix can stil l be made. If the Switch is made to the
prohibitive Mix whil e in NORM NO DECO DIVE Mode, the
High PO2 Al a rm wil l activate. If the Switch is made to the
prohibitive Mix whil e in DECO DIVE Mode, the message HIGH
> PO2 wil l repl a ce the scrol l i ng DECO message until the High
PO2 condition cl e ars.
Switching of Gas Mixes can onl y to be performed during the
time that a Gas Switch Preview screen is being displ a yed. These
are accessed from the TMT 2- 3 USE screen.
 Depressing the M button for 2 seconds whil e viewing a
NORM DIVE MAIN screen wil l access the TMT 2- 3 USE
(Lead- i n) screen displ a ying the Set Point SELF (Fig. 88). If
'bud' is displ a yed, indicating that the El i te T3 is set for
Buddy Pressure Check, a Gas Switch cannot be made.
 Pressing and rel e asing the M button momentaril y (< 2
seconds) whil e the TMT 2- 3 USE screen is displ a yed (with
the setting SELF) wil l access the GAS 1 Switch Preview
screen.
 The El i te T3 wil l revert to the NORM DIVE MAIN screen
after 10 seconds of no further M button action.
