Transmitter Battery Installation (continued) -
 Pl a ce a new 3 vol t , CR2, Lithium Battery (Duracel l model DL-
CR2 or equival e nt) positive (+) side down into the Battery
Compartment with the negative end facing up/out (Fig.
132).
 Ensure that the Battery is properl y oriented and the Hatch
O- r ing is evenl y seated around the Battery Hatch.
 Careful l y pl a ce the Battery Hatch with Spring into the
Housing and turn cl o ckwise sl o wl y by hand to ensure
proper threading. Appl y a coin and tighten until secure.
The outer surface of the Battery Hatch shoul d be fl u sh with
the outer surface of the Housing (Fig. 133).
Elite T3 System Testing
 Pressurize the Regul a tor Assembl y (and Transmitter).
 Activate the El i te T3 and watch careful l y as it performs a ful l
diagnostic and battery check, and enters Surface Mode.
Observe the LCD displ a y to ensure it is consistentl y cl e ar
and sharp in contrast throughout the screen.
 If any portions of the displ a y are missing or appear dim, or
if a Low Battery Condition is indicated, return your El i te T3
to an Authorized AERIS Deal e r for a compl e te eval u ation
before attempting to use it.
 Verify that Tank Pressure is displ a yed.
 Verify al l Set Points prior to diving.
 Press the S button for 2 seconds to check the Status screens.
