ENTRY INTO DECO DURING A FREE DIVE
In the event that Nitrogen Loading increases to the arning
l e vel indicated by al l segments of the NIBG and O2BG and UP
Arrow fl a shing, 3 short beeps wil l sound 3 times, the red LED
wil l fl a sh, and the Message UP > VIOL wil l appear on the
displ a y (Fig. 122).
After the beeps, the message UP > VIOL wil l continue to be
displ a yed scrol l i ng until you surface, then the graphic VIOL wil l
al t ernatel y be On/Off for 10 minutes after the dive.
Upon surfacing, the UP Arrow wil l be removed, however, the Ful l
NIBG and O2BG wil l continue to fl a sh for 24 hours (Fig. 123).
Operation wil l be as Permanent Viol a tion Mode and not access
to NORM and GAUG Modes wil l be bl o cked until a ful l 24
hours el a pse with no diving.
NOTES:
Nitrogen (NIBG) and Oxygen (O BG) are carried
over between FREE and NORM Modes.
Dive Time Remaining (until Deco or High O ) is
calculated during FREE Mode based FO of Air,
but not displayed.
