POST DIVE SURFACE MODE
hen you ascend to 2 FT (0.6 M), the El i te T3 wil l enter Surface Mode and begin count-
ing your Surface Interval .

TRANSITION PERIOD

If you descend during the first 10 minutes after surfacing (referred to as the Transition
Period), time underwater wil l be considered a continuation of that dive. The time at the
surface (if l e ss than 10 minutes) wil l not be added as Dive Time.
Transition Period information on the surface incl u des (Fig. 97):

> Graphic NORM al t ernating with the Al t itude Level graphic
SEA (or LEV2 through LEV13) and ET (if the unit is wet).
> Battery icon if an El i te T3 Low Battery arning Condition
exists, fl a shing if Too Low.
> NIBG, representing Nitrogen l o ading.
> O2BG, if a Nitrox dive
> Tank Pressure with symbol PSI (or BAR), if the Receiver is
Linked with an active TMT.
> Symbol DIVE and Number of that dive.
> Symbol s TIME and SURF, and Surface Interval Time (hr:min).
> NITROX symbol , if any GAS is set for a Nitrox dive.
> Tank icon representing the GAS in use.
During the Transition Period, the SURF ALT and LOG for that
dive can be accessed. Other modes (e.g., Pl a n, Fl y , Sat, Hist,
Set) wil l be accessibl e after 10 minutes on the surface.
