Inspection (continued) -
 Cl o sel y examine the inside of the Battery Compartment(s) for any signs of corrosion
indicating entrance of moisture into the unit.
 If corrosion is found, return the El i te T3 system to an Authorized AERIS Deal e r, and
DO NOT attempt to use it until it has received factory service.
 If moisture is found, it is best to have the unit inspected and cl e aned by an Authorized
AERIS Deal e r.
 If it is necessary to cl e an the Battery Compartment, fl u sh it and al l components with a
sol u tion of 50% white vinegar and 50% fresh water. Rinse with fresh water, and
al l o w to dry overnight, or bl o w dry with a hair dryer set at no heat.

 Sl i de a new 3 vol t type CR2450 Lithium Battery, negative (
Battery Cavity. Sl i de it in from the right side and ensure that it sl i des under the contact
cl i p on the l e ft rim of the cavity.
 Orient the Retaining Bar across the l o wer portion of the Battery and careful l y push it
down into position.
 Repl a ce the Hatch O- r ing with a new one. This O- r ing must
be a genuine AERIS part that can be purchased from an
Authorized AERIS Deal e r. Use of any other O- r ing wil l void
the warranty.
 Lightl y l u bricate the
and pl a ce it on the inner rim of the Battery Hatch. Ensure
that it is evenl y seated.
