SURF ALT Displ a y during the Transition Period (Fig. 98) -
 To access SURF ALT, press and rel e ase the A button (< 2
seconds) whil e viewing the NORM SURF MAIN displ a y.
 Press the S button to activate the SmartGl o Backl i ght.
 Press and rel e ase the A button (< 2 seconds) whil e viewing
the NORM SURF ALT displ a y to access the LOG Preview
screen for that dive.
 The screen wil l revert to NORM SURF MAIN after 2 minutes
unl e ss the A button is pressed.
To view that dive's LOG during the Transition Period -
 Press and rel e ase the A button 2 times (< 2 seconds each)
whil e viewing the NORM SURF MAIN displ a y to access the
LOG Preview screen (Fig. 99).
 Press the S button to view the LOG 1 screen (Nitrogen/
Dive data).
 Press the S button again to view the LOG 2 screen (Oxygen
data), if a Nitrox dive.
 Press the S button again to return to the NORM SURF MAIN
screen.
 The screen wil l revert to NORM SURF MAIN after 2 minutes
if no button is pressed.
Data for that dive wil l not be stored in the Eite T3's memory until
the 10 minute Transition Period on the surface is compl e ted.
