Oxygen Accumulation Time Remaining (OTR)

hen the El i te T3 is set for Nitrox operation, Oxygen Accumul a -
tion (saturation or exposure) during a dive, or 24 hour period,
appears graphical l y as the O2 Bar Graph (O2BG) (Fig. 64a).
As time remaining before reaching the Oxygen Exposure Limit
decreases, segments are added to the O2BG.
hen the amount of time remaining before reaching the Oxy-
gen Limit becomes l e ss than the No Decompression Dive Time
Remaining, cal c ul a tions for that Depth wil l be control l e d by
Oxygen. Oxygen Time Remaining (OTR) wil l then appear as the
Dive Time Remaining (DTR) displ a y (Fig. 64b) as signified by the
symbol s TIME and O2. As Oxygen Accumul a tion continues to
increase, segments wil l add to the O2BG.

Air Time Remaining (ATR)

The El i te T3 cal c ul a tes Air Time Remaining (ATR) using a pat-
ented al g orithm that is based on a diver's individual Air Con-
sumption Rate and Current Depth.
b
> Tank Pressure is measured once each second and an
average rate of Consumption is cal c ul a ted over a 90
second period.
> This Rate of Consumption is then used in conjunction with a
knowl e dge of the Depth dependence to predict the Air
required for the diver to make a safe control l e d Ascent
incl u ding any required Decompression Stops.
