Transmitter Battery Removal
Locate the Battery Hatch on the End of the Housing:
 Appl y a coin to the recessed sl o t of the Hatch and turn it
counter cl o ckwise out of the Housing (Fig. 128).
 Remove the Battery from the Battery Compartment and
discard according to l o cal regul a tions governing disposal
of Lithium batteries.
Elite T3 and Transmitter Inspection
 Cl o sel y check al l of the seal i ng surfaces for any signs of
damage that might impair proper seal i ng.
 Inspect the Buttons, Lens, and Housing(s) to ensure they are
not cracked or damaged.
WARNING: If damage or corrosion is found,
return your Elite T3 system to an Authorized
AERIS Dealer, and DO NOT attempt to use it until
it has received factory prescribed service.
 Remove the Battery Hatch O- r ing(s) and inspect them for
any signs of deterioration or deformity. DO NOT use tool s
to remove the O- r ing(s).
 To ensure proper seal i ng, O- r ing repl a cement is highl y
recommended each time a Battery is repl a ced.
 Cl o sel y examine al l threads for any signs of damage that
might prevent proper threading.
