Transmitter Battery Removal
Locate the Battery Hatch on the End of the Housing:
Appl y a coin to the recessed sl o t of the Hatch and turn it
counter cl o ckwise out of the Housing (Fig. 128).
Remove the Battery from the Battery Compartment and
discard according to l o cal regul a tions governing disposal
of Lithium batteries.
Elite T3 and Transmitter Inspection
Cl o sel y check al l of the seal i ng surfaces for any signs of
damage that might impair proper seal i ng.
Inspect the Buttons, Lens, and Housing(s) to ensure they are
not cracked or damaged.
WARNING: If damage or corrosion is found,
return your Elite T3 system to an Authorized
AERIS Dealer, and DO NOT attempt to use it until
it has received factory prescribed service.
Remove the Battery Hatch O- r ing(s) and inspect them for
any signs of deterioration or deformity. DO NOT use tool s
to remove the O- r ing(s).
To ensure proper seal i ng, O- r ing repl a cement is highl y
recommended each time a Battery is repl a ced.
Cl o sel y examine al l threads for any signs of damage that
might prevent proper threading.
