Setting FO for NORM Nitrox Dives:
For each val u e of FO2, the Maximum Operating Depth (MOD) that can be achieved for
the PO2 Al a rm Set Point l i mit previousl y set, wil l be displ a yed.
hen the FO2 50% DEFAULT is set ON and FO2 GAS 1 is set for a numerical val u e, 10
minutes on the surface after that dive, the FO2 for GAS 1 wil l be displ a yed as 50 and
further dives wil l be cal c ul a ted based on 50% O2 for oxygen cal c ul a tions and 21% O2
for Nitrogen cal c ul a tions (79% Nitrogen) unl e ss the FO2 for GAS 1 is set before the dive.
FO2 for GAS 1 continues to reset to the FO2 50% DEFAULT after subsequent repetitive
dives until 24 hours el a pse after the l a st dive, or the FO2 50% DEFAULT is turned OFF in
the Set FO2 50% DEFAULT ON/OFF MODE.
hen the FO2 50% DEFAULT is set OFF, the El i te T3 wil l remain set at the l a st FO2 GAS
1 Set Points for that series of repetitive dives.
The defaul t FO2 for GAS 1 each new dive Period is AIR.
hen FO2 for GAS 1 is set for AIR, the cal c ul a tions are the same as when it is set to an
FO2 of 21%. hen FO2 for GAS 1 is set to AIR, it remains set for AIR until it is set for a
numerical FO2 val u e (21 to 50%).
hen FO2 is set onl y to AIR, the O2 Bar Graph is not displ a yed at any time during a dive
or on the surface. PO2 val u es and/or warnings wil l not be displ a yed during the dive.
FREE Dive nitrogen cal c ul a tions are based on AIR and not affected by these FO2 Settings.
