NOTE: Extensive use of the Backlight reduces
estimated Battery life. Also, the Backlight does
not operate during a Low Elite T3 Battery Condi-
tion or when the Elite T3 is connected to a PC.

POWER SUPPLY

The El i te T3 util i zes one 3 vol t CR2450 Lithium Battery. The
Battery shoul d operate normal l y for 1 year or 300 dive hours if
2 dives are conducted during each dive period. The El i te T3
checks its battery vol t age every 2 minutes during surface opera-
tion.
 If vol t age of the El i te T3 decreases to the arning l e vel
(2.75 vol t s), the Battery icon wil l appear on Surface displ a y
screens (Fig. 2a) as an indication that the Battery shoul d be
changed prior to commencing a series of dives.
 If the El i te T3's vol t age decreases to the Al a rm l e vel (2.50
vol t s), the Battery icon wil l fl a sh and the El i te T3 wil l shut
Off.
 Low Battery arning/Al a rm conditions are not displ a yed
during Dive Modes.
 If a Low Battery Condition was not displ a yed prior to
starting a Dive, and a Low Battery Condition occurs during
the dive, there wil l be sufficient Battery power remaining to
maintain operation for the remainder of that dive.
