INSTALLING A TRANSMITTER ON A REGULATOR
To instal l the Transmitter on the Regul a tor First Stage:
Remove the existing Pressure Gauge and High Pressure
Hose, or the High Pressure Port Pl u g from the Port marked
HP using the proper size Hex Key.
Lightl y l u bricate the O- r ing and Threads of the Transmitter
fitting with a hal o carbon based l u bricant such as Christo-
Lube MCG111 (provided in AERIS Battery Kits).
Thread the Transmitter cl o ckwise by hand into the
Regul a tor's HP Port (Fig. 134) and tighten until secure with
a 5/8" open- e nd wrench.
Attach the Regul a tor First Stage to a ful l Scuba Tank and
pressurize by sl o wl y opening the Tank Val v e, l i stening for
any indication of air l e aking around the Fitting.
If air l e akage is present, DO NOT use, take the compl e te
Regul a tor Assembl y to an Authorized AERIS deal e r for
inspection and service.

nitrogen- o xygen (Nitrox) breathing gas mixtures containing up to
99% O2 by vol u me and with 100% O2.
