Transmitters use one 3 vol t , CR2 Lithium Battery. A Transmitter's
battery shoul d provide normal operation for 1 year or 300 dive
hours. Transmitters check battery vol t age when they are pressur-
ized and wil l send a Low Battery signal to the Receiver in the
El i te T3 when the vol t age drops bel o w the arning l e vel .
 Transmitter Low Battery arning/Al a rm conditions are onl y
displ a yed on Status screens that can be accessed whil e
viewing the NORM Surface Displ a y.
To check the condition of the El i te T3 or a Transmitter's Battery if
NORM or GAUG Mode is sel e cted, depress the S button for 2
seconds whil e viewing the NORM or GAUG Surface Main
Displ a y, then rel e ase it.
 As the button is depressed, the VT3's Receiver wil l activate.
 2 seconds l a ter, the VT3's Battery status wil l be displ a yed
for 3 seconds (Fig. 4), then -
 if active and l i nked, Transmitter 1's Battery status wil l be
displ a yed for 3 seconds (Fig. 5), then -
 if active and l i nked, Transmitter 2's Battery status wil l be
displ a yed for 3 seconds, then -
 if active and l i nked, Transmitter 3's Battery status wil l be
displ a yed for 3 seconds, then -
 the displ a y wil l then revert to Surface Mode.
 If a Transmitter is not active and l i nked, the message
NotAvAil (not avail a bl e ) wil l be displ a yed (Fig. 6).
