Use this command to enable MPLS-TE end-to-end protection func-
tion on tunnel port of this device. Command no can be used to
disable this function.
Tunnel configuration mode
tunnel mpls traffic-eng hot-standby [protect <primary-path-
option> secondary <secondary-path-option>]

There is not configuration by default.
V4.8.23 and its later versions support this command.
command tunnel mpls traffic-eng hot-standby is used to set
backup lsp automatically when master lsp is up.
When lsp, whose value of path-option is <primary-path-option>,
is up, the command tunnel mpls traffic-eng hot-standby
protect <primary-path-option> secondary <secondary-path-op
tion> is used to configure backup lsp according to the path whose
path-option is <secondary-path-option>. When master lsp is up,
path-option is not <primary-path-option>, then do MBB to make
path-option of master lsp as <primary-path-option>, and then
create backup lsp according to the path whose path-option is
<secondary-path-option>.
This example shows how to enable tunnel end-to-end protection
function.

ZXR10(config-if)#tunnel mpls traffic-eng hot-standby
ZXR10(config)#interface tunnel1
