ip vrf

Use this command to configure a VPN instance (VRF). Delete the
VRF with the no form of this command.
Global configuration
ip vrf <vrf-name>
no ip vrf <vrf-name>
<vrf-name>
The name is only locally valid and it is used when some inter-
face is bounded with the VPN.
Enter the VRF configuration mode after the command is exe-
cuted successfully.
This example describes how to configure a VPN named zte.
ZXR10(config)#ip vrf zte
ZXR10(config-vrf)#

ip vrf forwarding

Use this command to associate an interface with a VRF. Cancel the
association with the no form of this command.
Interface configuration
ip vrf forwarding <vrf-name>
no ip vrf forwarding
<vrf-name>
The interface is associated with the global routing table by default.
The original IP address of the interface where this command is
used is deleted, it needs reconfiguring.
This example describes how to associate the interface Loopback1
with the VPN named zte.
ZXR10(config)#interface loopback1
ZXR10(config-if)#ip vrf forwarding zte
