The default peer type is "hub" in VFI configuration mode.
The default peer type is "spoke" in VFI MSPW configuration mode.
This command is supported after the platform version 4.6.02. This
command is supported to be configured under vfi mspw configu-
ration mode after the platform version 4.8.20.
The current solution does not support the VPLS automatic discov-
ery mechanism, thus it is necessary to specify all PE addresses in
the same VPLS. This command uses the parameters specified in
the vcid and pwtype commands to establish a pseudo-wire with
the designated PE. The spoke type is used for VPLS hierarchy and
cross-domain.
1. This example describes how to execute the peer command in
VFI configuration mode on the PE.
ZXR10(config)#vfi vfi1
ZXR10(config-vfi)#peer 4.4.4.4
2. This example describes how to execute the peer command in
VFI MSPW configuration mode on the PE.
ZXR10(config)#vfi mspw vfi1
ZXR10(config-vfi-mspw)#peer 4.4.4.4 vcid 40

IP address of the peer PE, in general it is the
router identifier
If the optional parameter spoke is specified,
the type of pseudo-wire is spoke; otherwise,
it is hub
Tunnel number used for establishing VPLS,
range: 1~1024
Different VPLS instances of the same PE has a
different vcid, VPLS instances with the same
vcid of the different PEs belongs to the same
VPLS, range: 1~4294967294
