vcid

Use this command to specify a virtual channel identifier (VCID) for
the VPLS instance.
VFI configuration
vcid <vcid>
<vcid>
This command is supported after the platform version 4.6.02.
If VPLS instances on two PE routers belong to the same VPLS, a
pseudo wire (PW) must be established between the PEs for com-
munication of these VPLS instances. The pseudo wire (PW) is es-
tablished to exchange MPLS inner labels which identifies VPLS be-
tween two PEs. MPLS inner labels are also named virtual channel
(VC) labels (the pseudo wire (PW) is composed of the VC label
and the MPLS outer label of the LSP). The virtual channel identi-
fier (VCID) configured by this command is used to identify different
VPLS when VC labels are exchanged between PEs.
This example describes how to configure the virtual channel iden-
tifier (VCID) as 100 on the PE.
ZXR10(config)#vfi vfi1
ZXR10(config-vfi)# vcid 100

Different VPLS instances on the same PE
have different virtual channel identifiers
(VCIDs), and VPLS instances with the same
virtual channel identifier (VCID) on different
PEs belong to the same VPLS, range:
