Use the no form of this command to disable LDP to establish
an LSP along a common hop-by-hop routing path no matter
whether LDP is enabled on the interface or not.
mpls ip(Interface
Configuration)
Use this command to enable LDP label switching on the interface.
Disable LDP label switching with the no form of this command.
Interface configuration
mpls ip
no mpls ip
This command is disabled by default.
This command enables LDP to exchange labels on the interface
of layer 3. Once the command is configured, LSR starts to pe-
riodically send hello messages on the interface. When packets
to the destination network obtain the outgoing label to some
destination network, the outgoing label will be added into the
packets and the packets will be forwarded from this interface.
Note that this command will take effect only after mpls ip is
configured in global configuration mode.
The no form of this command make packets routed from this
interface no more carry labels and cease the label switching on
the interface.
This example describes how to enable LDP on the interface fei_1/1.
ZXR10(config)#mpls ip
ZXR10(config)#interface fei_1/1
ZXR10(config-if)#mpls ip
show mpls interface
show mpls ldp discovery
