This example describes how to set the maximum initial delay as
300 seconds.
ZXR10(config-router)#bgp update-delay 300

Use this command to allow default routes being redistributed into
BGP. Disable this function with the no form of this command.

The default routes are not advertised by default.
This command has the default routes redistributed into the BGP
route database, and this will make the redistributed default routes
advertised to all the BGP neighbors. This command is used to-
gether with the redistribution command.
This example describes how to allow the default routes being re-
distributed into BGP.
ZXR10(config)#router bgp 1
ZXR10(config-router)#default-information originate
redistribute
default-metric(BGP4+)
Use this command to configure the MED metric for BGP. When
routes are redistributed among multiple protocols, this command
is used so that the current routing protocol uses the system metric
value for all redistributed routes. Restore default with the no form
of this command.

<metric-value>
For BGP, the MED of the redistributed routes is 0 by default.
This example describes how to configure the default MED value for
redistributed routes as 500.
