This command is supported after the platform version 4.6.02.
This example describes how to enter IPv6 address family configu-
ration mode.
ZXR10(config)#router isis
ZXR10(config-router)#address-family ipv6
ZXR10(config-router-af)#

authentication-type

Use this command to configure the authentication mode of the
IS-ISv6 route entity. Restore the default value with the no form
of this command.
Router configuration
authentication-type {md5 | text}[level-1 | level-2]
no authentication-type md5 [level-1 | level-2]
{md5 | text}
level-1 | level-2
The authentication mode of the route entity is the text authenti-
cation, which is valid to the level-1 and level-2.
This command is supported after the platform version 4.6.02.
This command is configured to add the authentication TLV into the
sent LSP and SNP packets, and authenticate the received LSP and
SNP packets.
Since the default authentication mode is text, do not delete the
text authentication mode by using the no form of this command.
This example describes how to configure the authentication mode.
ZXR10(config-router)#authentication-type md5 level-1
ZXR10(config-router)#authentication zte
area-password
domain-password

distance

Use this command to configure the administrative distance of
IS-ISv6 routes. Restore default with the no form of this com-
mand.
IPv6 address family configuration
distance < distance >
no distance
Authentication mode is MD5 or text.
