ipv6 mtu

Use this command to set the maximum transmission unit (MTU)
size of IPv6 packets sent on an interface. Restore the default MTU
size with the no form of this command.
Interface configuration
ipv6 mtu <bytes>
no ipv6 mtu
<bytes>
The default value depends on the interface medium, but the min-
imum for any interface is 1280 bytes.
This command is supported after the platform version 4.6.02.
If a nondefault value is configured for an interface, an MTU option
is included in router advertisements.
The router does not fragment forwarded packets. When the length
of the packet (IP part) exceeds the MTU of the interface, the router
will respond a"packet too big" ICMP packet to the source to make
the packet fragmented.
This example describes how to set the MTU as 1300 bytes.
ZXR10(config)#interface fei_1/1
ZXR10(config-if)#ipv6 mtu 1300
show ipv6 interface
show ipv6 mtu
