The display
In the on-line mode the display shows the feedback about the print job status
and system messages.
In the off-line mode the display shows the off-line menu. (see 'The menu
structure of the printer' on page 84)
On the right-hand side the display shows the menu level indicator. The menu
level indicator presents in a graphic way the active printer menu level. The
menu structure of the printer has a maximum of 4 printer menu levels.
The keys
The printer operator panel contains the following keys.

Return to a higher menu level
Select an option or a setting in the menu
Stop the current print job
Switch between the on-line mode (the green light above
the key is on) and the off-line mode (the green light above
the key is off) of the printer.
Activate the program mode and enter the top menu level
select another mode at the same menu level
display the next or the previous option from the option list
