You can select to Enable or Disable the DHCP Server function. The RocketLinx ES7528
assigns a new IP address to link partners.
After selecting to enable the DHCP Server function, type in the Network IP address for the
DHCP server IP pool, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway address, and Lease Time for client.
Click Apply to apply the settings.
Note: You must Save the settings (Page 137), if you want to maintain these settings if the
RocketLinx ES7528 is powered off.
You can type a specific address into the IP Address field for the DHCP server reserved IP
address.
The IP address that is listed in the Excluded Address List Table is not assigned to the
network device. Add or remove an IP address from the Excluded Address List by
clicking Add or Remove.
The RocketLinx ES7528 provides a MAC address and IP address binding and removing
function. You can type in the specified IP and MAC address, and then click Add to add a
new MAC and IP address binding rule for a specified link partner, like a PLC, or any
device without DHCP client function.
The MAC address format is xxxx.xxxx.xxxx; for example, 00C0.4E33.0001.
To remove from the binding list, just select the rule to remove and click Remove.
