Technical Tip:
If both ends are not at the same speed, they cannot link with each other. If both ends are not in the
same duplex mode, they are connected by half-duplex mode.

You can enable or disable the state of this port. Once you click Disable, the
port stops to link to the other end and stops to forward any traffic. The default
setting is Enable which means all the ports are workable when you receive
the RocketLinx ES7528.
You can configure port speed and duplex mode of this port. Below are the
selections you can choose:
• Fast Ethernet Port 1~24 (fa1~fa24)
- Auto Negotiation
- 10M full-duplex (10 Full)
- 10M half-duplex (10 Half)
- 100M full-duplex (100 Full)
- 100M half-duplex (100 Half)
- Gigabit Ethernet Port 25~28: (gi25~gi28Auto Negotiation
- 10M full-duplex (10 Full)
- 10M half-duplex (10 Half)
- 100M full-duplex (100 Full)
- 100M half-duplex (100 Half)
- 1000M full-duplex (1000 Full)
Note: The default mode is Auto Negotiation mode.
Symmetric means that you need to activate the flow control function of the
remote network device in order to let the flow control of that corresponding
port on the switch to work.
Disable means that you do not need to activate the flow control function of
the remote network device, as the flow control of that corresponding port on
the switch works.
Click this field and optionally enter a port description.
Click Apply to apply the settings.
Note: You must Save the settings (Page 137), if you want to maintain these
settings if the RocketLinx ES7528 is powered off.
