IGMP Snooping
Use this page to enable the IGMP Snooping feature, assign IGMP Snooping for specific VLANs, and view the IGMP
Snooping table from a dynamic learnt or static that you provide. The RocketLinx ES7528 supports IGMP snooping V1/V2/V3
automatically and IGMP query V1/V2.

IGMP has three fundamental types of messages as follows:

You can select Enable or Disable. After enabling IGMP Snooping, you can
then enable IGMP Snooping for specific VLAN.
You can Enable IGMP Snooping for some VLANs so that some of the
VLANs support IGMP Snooping and others will not.
To assign IGMP Snooping to VLAN, click the check box of the VLAN ID or
click the Select All check box for all VLANs and then click Enable. You can
also Disable IGMP Snooping for certain VLANs using the same method.
This table displays the multicast group IP address, VLAN ID it belongs to,
and member ports of the multicast group. The RocketLinx ES7528 supports
256 multicast groups. Click Reload to refresh the table.
A message sent from the querier (IGMP router or switch) asking for a
response from each host belonging to the multicast group.
A message sent by a host to the querier to indicate that the host wants to be or
is a member of a given group indicated in the report message.
A message sent by a host to the querier to indicate that the host has quit being
a member of a specific multicast group.
