Function Depend Troubleshooting
To check the Device Driver (for serial prefix JP1KH, JP2KH, and
MY432)
Make sure first whether the E4991A device drivers are installed properly or not by the
following procedure, if you experience the E4991A function doesn't work.
Step 1. Exit from the E4991A Measurement Display as shown in "How to exit from the E4991A
Measurement View" on page 155. Then windows desktop screen is displayed.
Step 2. Right mouse click "My Computer" icon, and click "Properties". Then System Properties
dialog box is displayed.
Step 3. Click
Figure 4-18 is displayed. However, if it doesn't detect the necessary device driver, a yellow
back grounded "!" icon as shown in Figure 4-19 is displayed. The Figure 4-19 shows the
example of the operating system doesn't detect the LAN board (3Com EtherLink 10/100
PCI TX NIC [3C905B-TX]) properly. So, the device of the LAN board with the yellow
back grounded "!" icon is displayed.
