Replacing the Roller Waste Collector
A maintenance reminder appears when you need to replace the roller waste
collector. Replacement is necessary after 500 hours of printing or 4 months.
You should replace the unit earlier if it does not effectively keep the roller clean.
To replace the roller waste collector:

2. Open the printer and locate the roller waste collector, next to the roller.

After replacing the wiper, you determine if it needs to be adjusted to wipe
the print heads effectively. You do this by looking to see if there is a gap
between the print heads and the wiper, and indicating this in the wizard
screen.
