After replacing the print head(s), continue as follows:
1. At the back of the printer, connect the power cable and turn on the main
2. At the front of the printer, press the printer power button to turn on the

When the printer computer restarts, you need to open the Head
Replacement wizard to complete the procedure. The alert Head
replacement incomplete appears in the Alerts list.
When the following screen is displayed, tap Next.

The wizard fills the heads with printing material. Then, additional wizards
allow you to check that the heads are installed properly and that print
quality is optimum.
The following wizards open automatically.
❒ Head Purging wizard—to force material through nozzles to ensure that
they are not clogged, and that the wiper is calibrated
❒ Pattern Test—to verify that the heads can print properly, through all
nozzles
to calibrate the printer for optimum print quality:
