Software Crash

If the workcell controller software crashes the user will be presented with the usual
windows error message, shown in Figure 8-7.
Press Don't Send, to close the error box. The PathFinder 350S will restart itself
automatically.
If the software crashes immediately after the reset there are three checks that may
get the system operational.
Note: all these causes should display an error and close the workcell controller
gracefully, however unexpected circumstances may conceivably cause a software
crash and this information is intended to help identify the likely suspects.

Remove all racks and the specimen tray before allowing the
system to reboot. If the system starts up successfully, then
fit the specimen tray and racks one by one.
If the software crashes when the tray or a rack is placed,
check the tray and profile gates configurations are
consistent with each other (see Sections 6.7.8 and 6.7.9).
Check the LIS interface directories have been created.
If unsure of the LIS settings or to turn off the LIS interface
manually, contact Abbott Customer Service.
The database the workcell controller needs is not running.
Reset the PathFinder 350S by following the procedure in
Section 7.6.
