6.7.10 Locations

The locations table defines a list of location IDs that can be referred to by the LIS.
These location IDs are used in the profile gates configuration to relate the LIS
location ID to a tray gate.

Heading
Profile ID
This is the profile name that will be used to define the
workflow through the PathFinder 350S.
Tray Name
This is the specimen tray to be configured.
Gate Index
This is the gate in the specimen tray being configured.
Direction
This defines whether the gate is used as an input or output.
Location ID
This is the location ID the LIS will use to refer to the gate.

Heading
Location ID
This is the name used by the LIS to refer to a Location. It is
case sensitive.
Description
A meaningful description of the location ID.
Location Type
This field categorises the Location for easier filtering.
Primary
These define whether the tubes expected are primary or
secondary tubes, and whether they are capped or uncapped.
Secondary
This is not used with the PathFinder 350S unless it is part of a
larger workcell that includes aliquoting, eg the PathFinder 900.
Specimen Type
The specimen type (if any) to assign to any tube placed in this
location. This only applies to input locations. This setting is
overridden if the rack placed has a specimen type defined in
the Racks Registry.
