Normally the axes will recover themselves automatically. If the error pauses
processing check for a source of the obstruction and remove it.
If no obstruction can be found and the error repeats contact Abbott Customer
Service.
8.3.7

Carousel Advance Failed

The carousel advance failed message indicates the carousel was unable to advance
to its next location.
Check the carousel is not jammed by a dropped tube or debris, pressing the green
Start button should resume processing normally. If the failure persists then restart
the PathFinder 350S by turning the workcell off and back on. If this does not
correct the issue contact Abbott Customer Service.

System Errors

This section describes serious errors not handled automatically by the
PathFinder 350S. These errors may cause processing to stop unexpectedly and the
only recovery option is to restart the system.
8.4.1

Communications Failure

If the communications link between the user interface and the workcell controller is
broken, the mode in the status box will display [COMMSFAILURE], as shown below.
Note: the master alarm indicator may or may not turn red as the indicator is driven
by the workcell controller.
This error should clear itself. Leave the user interface for at least two minutes to
re-establish communications automatically.
