In case of an emergency use the main power switch on the services assembly to turn
the power OFF.
The power to the PathFinder 350S and its control computer will be cut instantly.
Restarting will take a few minutes, because it will be necessary to re–boot the
control computer and its programs.

Operational Safety Features

At any time, the next destination rack for the gripper arm is indicated by a blinking
LED on the gate holding the rack. However, the gripper arm may move past the
destination and return. This is a potential hazard.

Safe Work Practices

Laboratory safety procedures for handling contaminated material or waste should be
followed.

Emergency Off
Placing and Removing Racks
Do not remove racks when the PathFinder 350S is picking or placing
tubes. It may damage samples which may present a biological risk to
the operator.
If the PathFinder 350S is used in any manner other than that specified
by the manufacturer in this manual, the protection provided by the
safety features may be impaired.
