3.3.2

Specimen Tray

The tray supplied may differ from the photos in this manual. The tray is
configurable to accept a variety of racks depending on the particular laboratory
requirements.
The specimen tray fits into the base of the Sorter robot and locates the specimen
racks.
3.3.3

Carousel

The carousel module identifies the tubes placed on the Sorter. It reads the barcode
of the presented tubes which is then sent as a query to the LIS. Holding four tubes
on the carousel at any one time prevents LIS delays from affecting throughput.
3.3.4

LCD Monitor

The LCD touch screen monitor provides the user interface to the workcell controller.
The user interface provides the PathFinder 350S controls.
