Turning Off the PathFinder 350S
In an emergency the PathFinder 350S can be shut down immediately by switching off
the main power switch on the front of the services module.
The general shutdown procedure is given below. If the workcell is still processing
tubes, stop processing by pressing the Finish button on the home page:

Resetting the PathFinder 350S
Resetting the PathFinder 350S should only be required if changing some
configuration items, or if recommended by the troubleshooting section of this
manual.
To reset the PathFinder 350S follow the procedure below:

How to Read the Gate LEDs on the Tray
The specimen tray has orange and green LEDs at the front of the rack fences.
Whether these LEDs are off, on, or flashing can indicate different rack states.

Logout from the user interface by pressing the Logout button.
To shutdown the workcell controller, press the Shutdown button. Wait for
the shutdown process to complete.
Turn off power to the modules by turning off the main power switch on the
front of the services module.
If possible, finish the processing of tubes. Remove all tubes and racks from
the specimen tray, grippers, and carousel.
Follow the shutdown procedure given in Section 7.5.
Power the PathFinder 350S back on by following the procedure in Section 7.1.

If the gate LED is off then the gate either does not contain a rack, or the rack
is not being accessed by the Sorter.
If the gate LED is continuously on then there is a processing error associated
with that rack.
If the gate LED is flashing then the Sorter is about to pick from or place to the
rack.
The STAT well has a green LED on the last gate. This behaves the same as the
other gate LEDs.
Never remove a rack while the gate LED is flashing.
