Installation
This section will describe how to install the PathFinder 350S.
All inter-module connections have unique connectors to prevent damage to
modules. Furthermore, where a cable is polarized (i.e. cannot be used either way
round) it has different connectors at each end.
The tools required for installation are included with the Sorter:
4.1
Electrical Safety
To reduce the risks of electrical shock, this equipment employs a three-wire
electrical cord and plug to connect the equipment to earth ground. To preserve this
safety feature:
There are no user configurable or serviceable parts inside the PathFinder 350S.
4.2
Module Installation
4.2.1
Sorter Module
The Sorter should be placed on a bench or desk at an ergonomic height for the
operators. Ensure there is enough room at the back of the Sorter to fit the carousel.

#2 Phillips-head screwdriver for installing the covers.
3mm, 5mm and 6mm Allen key/hex driver for installing the carousel and LCD
monitor.
A 10mm spanner for adjusting the LCD monitor.
Make sure the matching wall outlet receptacle is properly wired and earth
grounded to provide a protective earth.
Never use a three-wire to two-wire plug adapter.
Never use a two-wire extension cord or a non-grounding type multiple outlet
receptacle strip.
Ensure to position the services module so that it is easy to access the mains
power switch or to remove the power cord.
Any servicing of this equipment which requires removal of covers or panels
can expose parts, which involve the risk of electric shock or personal injury.
Refer such servicing to trained engineers.
If you remove covers or panels and attempt to service exposed parts,
personal injury (including electrical shock) and damage to equipment
may result.
