Generating a Report

The first screen displayed when a report is selected is an options page.
This page presents the user with options for filtering the report data, as well as
output format, and viewing options. A typical options page is shown below. Note:
depending on the report, some of the options may not be available.

The report can be filtered before being generated; this can make the report more
relevant and faster to generate.
All reports can be filtered by date. To set the date span for the report, change the
Date From: and Date to: fields by using the calendar boxes to the right of the field.
Some reports will display custom options for filtering or generating the report, e.g.
in the screen shot above the report can filter the data by hour, day, week, or
month, and can be displayed as a table or a graph.

Reports can be viewed or downloaded. Viewing the report opens the report once
generated so it can be viewed immediately. Downloading the report saves the
report to another location so it can be viewed at another time.
Reports can be viewed in either PDF or HTML. In PDF the report is generated as a
PDF and viewed with Adobe Acrobat. In HTML the report is displayed in the user
interface.
