To enter a range of barcodes the rack registry allows the user to enter a numerical
range after a prefix. The numerical range is defined between square parentheses
[ ].
For example, entering
When committed will expand to
6.7.7

Profiles

The profiles table simply defines a list of profile names that can be referenced in
other tables.

Heading
Rack Barcode The barcode of the rack.
Rack Type ID The rack type. This is a drop down list of all the rack types
defined in the rack types configuration table.
Specimen Type The specimen type (if any) to assign to tubes in this rack. This
is a drop down list of the specimen type defined in the
specimen types configuration table.

Heading
