Finish

To finish the processing of tubes press the red Finish button.
While in the finishing state, the tray status on the home page will be highlighted
light blue as shown in Figure 7-5.
The Sorter will finish processing the tubes currently held by the carousel. No
further tubes will be picked from the input rack. Once all tubes have been placed,
the PathFinder 350S will place itself into a stopped state, indicated by the orange
highlight of the tray state on the home page.

Removing Racks from the Specimen Tray

An output rack can be removed before it is full. An input rack can be removed
before it is empty.
To remove a rack that is currently being populated with tubes:

While the PathFinder 350S is designed to allow racks to be removed
while processing tubes care must be taken that the rack is not being
accessed before removal.
Do not remove a rack if tubes are being placed into the rack, or if the
LED on the racks gate is flashing.
Press the Pause button on the home page to pause processing.
Push the rack a few millimetres away from the red retention strip at the front
of the tray.
Lift the front of the rack higher than the red strip and pull the rack out of the
gate.
The rack can be replaced by another equivalent rack type and processing will
resume. If the pause button was pressed before removing the rack, press the
Start button to resume processing.
