Remove the two M4 bolts (1, Figure 345) securing the rear
cover (2, Figure 345) to the brush holder assembly (3,
Figure 345).

Remove the two M5 through bolts (4, Figure 345).
Separate the rear cover (2, Figure 345), field coil
assembly (5, Figure 345) with the armature assembly (6,
Figure 345) from the gear housing (7, Figure 345).
4.
Pull the brush springs up using a brush spring puller. On
the negative (-) side, bring the brush spring into contact
with the side of the brush for lifting from the commutator
surface. On the positive (+) side, remove the brush from the
brush holder assembly (1, Figure 346).
5.
Remove the brush holder assembly (1, Figure 347) from
the armature assembly (3, Figure 347).
6.
Pull the armature assembly (3, Figure 347) out from the
field coil assembly (2, Figure 347).
7.
Remove the two M6 bolts (1, Figure 348) retaining the
magnetic switch assembly (2, Figure 348) to the gear
housing. Remove the magnetic switch assembly, dust
cover(s) (3, Figure 348) and torsion spring (4, Figure 348)
from the gear housing.
