Standard problem solving steps
Perform the following standard troubleshooting steps to locate and clear
faults:
1 Silence audible alarms that occur when the system detects alarm
2 Isolate the fault. Read status displays and trace fault codes to the menu
3 Busy (BSY) the hardware to remove the system access to the defective
4 Test the defective component and identify the card to replace. Replace

Fault isolation tests for the SMS
