h) The CUBE or OB indicator of
the hand switch (BX3M-HS)
does not turn ON.

Problem
The cable for the LED lamp
housing is not connected.
The microscope frame or the LED
lamp housing is damaged.
The LIM switch is not pressed (LIM
switch in ON) or the brightness is
not stored properly.
The microscope frame or the
revolving nosepiece is damaged.
The MIX slider for reflected light
observation (U-MIXR) is not
engaged in the light path.
The hand switch (BX3M-HS) is not
connected.
The MIX slider for reflected light
observation (U-MIXR) is not
damaged.
The MIX slider for reflected
light observation (U-MIXR) is
disconnected.
The cable for MIX slider
(U-MIXRCBL) is disconnected.
The hand switch (BX3M-HS) is not
connected.
The microscope frame or the hand
switch (BX3M-HS) is damaged.
Cause
Set the main switch to
and connect the cable for the LED
lamp housing to the connector on
the back of the microscope frame.
Contact Olympus.
Press the LIM switch to set the
"Replay" mode.(LIM switch is ON.)
If the LIM switch is ON, press the
LIM switch is OFF and store the
brightness properly.
Contact Olympus.
Engage the MIX slider for reflected
light observation in the light path.
You can check whether the MIX
slider for reflected light observation
is engaged or not by the POSITION
indicator of the hand switch.
Set the main switch to
and connect the hand switch
(BX3M-HS).
Contact Olympus.
Connect the MIX slider for reflected
light observation.
Contact Olympus.
Set the main switch to
and connect the hand switch
(BX3M-HS).
