Setting the AS.(aperture diaphragm) PRESET switch
Setting the AS (aperture diaphragm) diameter per each objective using the
AS PRESET switches b allows you to change the AS diameter to the AS
diameter value specified according to the selected objective.
· In the darkfield observation, the AS diameter is fixed at the open

position automatically.

· The AS diameter can be set using the AS PRESET switches
while the main switch is set to (ON).
Setting the AS diameter
Insert a precision flathead screwdriver, etc. into the center of the AS
PRESET switch b that corresponds to the objective mounting screw
No., and move the arrow to the intended setting value. See "Table 1
Recommended AS PRESET values" (next page) for recommended values.
