Cintura di sicurezza e dispositivi di
trattenimento alternativi
Per limitare le conseguenze derivanti dal
rovesciamento laterale accidentale, il carrello
elevatore viene fornito con cintura di sicurezza
come equipaggiamento standard. Per casi particolari
in cui il carrellista abbia difficoltà ad indossarla,
per esempio se deve salire e scendere ripetutamente
dal carrello per le specifiche caratteristiche del
ciclo di lavoro, sono disponibili, su richiesta,
dispositivi di trattenimento operatore alternativi
quali:
- cabine chiuse con porte rigide
- barriere laterali o cancelletti
(TipOverProtection)
Cabina chiusa con porte rigide
In caso di rovesciamento laterale accidentale,
le prove effettuate hanno dimostrato la validità
di questa soluzione: anche se il conducente non
viene trattenuto sul sedile di guida, è comunque
scongiurato il pericolo che venga proiettato fuori
dal carrello.
E' pero' molto importante ricordare che l'impiego
della cabina implica che le porte rimangano sempre
chiuse durante la traslazione del mezzo: anche
nel periodo estivo.
Per garantire la chiusura, in marcia, delle porte
a cerniera, le cabine sono dotate di dispositivi
che le mantengono aperte in posizione tale da
essere di ostacolo alla traslazione.
Se, nonostante tutto, le si vogliono tenere aperte
nel periodo estivo, il datore di lavoro dovrà
accertarsi che l'operatore utilizzi la cintura di
sicurezza in dotazione.
Se non si ha questa certezza, occorre dotare la
cabina di barriere laterali o dispositivi analoghi.

Safety belts and alternative restraint devices
To limit the negative consequences of accidental
lateral tipping, the lift truck is provided with
a seat belt as part of the standard equipment.
For particular cases when it is difficult for the
truck operator to use the seat belt, e.g. if he
has to climb on and off the truck repeatedly
due to the specific characteristics of the work
cycle, alternative operator restraint devices are
available by request, such as:
- closed cab with rigid doors
- lateral barriers or gates

Closed cab with rigid doors
In the event of accidental lateral tipping, tests
carried out have confirmed the effectiveness of
this solution: even if the operator is not restrained
on the driver seat, the danger of projection to
outside the truck is eliminated.
It must be noted however that it is essential
that the cab doors are closed at all times when
the vehicle is in transit: also during summer months.
To ensure that the hinged doors are kept closed
while the truck is moving, the cabs are equipped
with devices that hold the doors open in such
a position as to obstruct the truck when travelling.
If it is anyway decided to keep the doors open
in summer months, the employer is obliged to
ensure that the operator uses the supplied seat
belt.
If it is not possible to be certain of the use
of the seat belt, the cab must be equipped with
lateral barriers or similar devices.

Sicherheitsgurt und alternative
Rückhalteeinrichtungen
Um die möglichen Verletzungsfolgen für den Fahrer
bei einem Unfall mit seitlichem Umkippen zu
begrenzen, wird der Gabelstapler in der
Standardausstattung mit einem Sicherheitsgurt
geliefert. In Sonderfällen, in denen der
Gabelstaplerfahrer Schwierigkeiten hat, den Gurt
anzulegen, da er z. B. aus arbeitstechnischen Gründen
ständig vom Gabelstapler ab- und wiederaufsteigen
muss, sind auf Anfrage folgende alternative
Fahrerrückhaltesysteme lieferbar:
- Geschlossene Fahrerkabinen
- Bügeltüren
(TipOverProtection)
Geschlossene Fahrerkabine
Praxistests haben die Effizienz dieser Lösung bei
einem Unfall mit seitlichem Umkippen bewiesen.
Auch wenn der Fahrer nicht auf dem Fahrersitz
festgehalten wird, ist dennoch ausgeschlossen, dass
er aus dem Gabelstapler herausgeschleudert wird.
Es ist jedoch unbedingt darauf zu achten, dass
die Türen der Fahrerkabine bei fahrendem Fahrzeug
ständig geschlossen sind, und zwar auch im Sommer.
Um bei fahrendem Gabelstapler sicherzustellen,
dass die Türen geschlossen sind, halten spezielle
Vorrichtungen die Türen in einer geöffneten
Stellung, die das Fahren behindert.
Sollen die Türen im Sommer dennoch offen
gehalten werden, so muss sich der Arbeitgeber
vergewissern, dass der Gabelstaplerfahrer den
Sicherheitsgurt anlegt.
Hat er diese Gewissheit nicht, muss die Fahrerkabine
mit Bügeltüren oder ähnlichen Vorrichtungen
ausgerüstet werden.
