Assembly and preparation
Establishing the power supply
The device is designed for connection to the
hospital's mains power supply.
WARNING
Risk of electric shock and of device failure
If the device is plugged into a socket with the
incorrect mains voltage or one that has no
protective earth, the user may be endangered
and the device may be damaged.
The power cable may only be connected to a
socket with protective earth, see chapter
''Technical data''.
Establishing the mains power supply
Condition:
The mains voltage must be within the voltage
range indicated on the rating plate:
Either: 100 V to 127 V
Or: 220 V to 240 V
 Insert the mains plug into the mains power
socket.
