Cause
Pressure sensor or pressure
reducer faulty.
The PEEP/CPAP setting knob is
set to less than 3 mbar

The setting knob for PEEP has
been set to a value greater than
8 mbar (8 cmH
O), but the set-

ting is limited to 8 mbar

been set to a value greater than

Liquid in expiratory valve.
Condensate in the breathing

Malfunction in pressure-measur-

Remove condensate.
Use a suitable breathing circuit.

Press the OK key and calibrate
the flow sensor, see page 95.
Establish free passage.
Replace flow sensor.
Increase flow
inspiratory time, increase Pinsp
if necessary.
