7.8.1.3 Charging station behind panels/ fence
With positioning beacon
In this case the charging station is located behind the fence in a large enclosure. The figure
below shows the layout of the peripheral wire and the route taken by the robot to enter and
leave the station.
The robot detects the charging station at point (D) and moves onto the wire. It then travels
along the wire until it reaches the charging station.
Note: The maximum distance between the point (D) and charging station is 28m! If the
distance is longer than this, the robot will stop and issue a "No contact" alarm.
The configuration is:
- S shaped return
- counter-clockwise return,
- the exit station parameters must be configured to comply with the conditions shown above.
