Chapter 6 How Turfmow 1000 works

Case 1: Alarm mode
When the robot encounters a problem, such as a cutting head that is blocked, it will register

Case 2: Standby mode
The robot will enter the Standby state if,
• the autonomous mission has been stopped due to an external command,
• an alarm situation has been corrected and the alarm cleared by manual intervention,
• it is manually switched ON.
The robot will leave the Standby state when a command is issued. It will then enter the
test mode
Self test mode
Whenever the robot has been in the Standby mode it will perform a self test, to check the
integrity of the entire system (including electronics, sensors, mechanics and software).
• When the result of the self test is successful, it will resume the autonomous working state.
• If the result of the self test is NOT successful, it will register an alarm. This will then require
intervention to
OFF mode
The robot will be in the OFF mode when:
• it has been manually switched OFF,
• an alarm situation has not been corrected after a certain period of time. The amount of
time depends on the level of charge in the battery.
An intervention is required to switch the machine ON again.

6.3 Service state

Demo mode
In Demo mode the robot will operate without taking the peripheral wire into account. This can
be used to demonstrate the performance of the machine before the wire has been installed.
Demo mode is activated from the
