Chapter 11 Service and Maintenance
Cutting head
1.
Clean the cutting head using a brush and/or a brush. If compressed air is available, this
is more effective.
2.
Check that the entire cutting head moves smoothly backward and forwards as shown by
the arrow in the figure below.
3.
Check that the cutting disc rotates smoothly.
Pantograph
1.
Check that there is not too much play in the pantograph by moving it in the direction
shown below.
2.
Replace if necessary
Cutting disk
1.
Remove the cutting head by unscrewing the screw shown below.
